He has studied with many fantastic teachers, including Scott Whitfield, John Moak, Marc Dickman, Marta Hofacre, Tom Mitchell, Earl Pettey, Wayne Blackwell, Prentiss Hobbs, and Harry Watters. He has also worked extensively at Disneyland and Walt Disney World, and in 1995 he was a clinician and performer for the International Association of Jazz Educators (IAJE), Florida chapter. Currently he lives in Huntsville, has a large studio of students, does clinics and performs all around the southeast U.S.
